Judicial Review of Luton Airport expansion decision

Judicial Review of Luton Airport expansion decision

In 2022 we campaigned against proposals by London Luton Airport and NATS to impose a new airplane holding stack over parts of Huntingdonshire (see https://www.cprecambs.org.uk/campaigns-transport/2022/07/12/new-luton-arrival-flightpaths-bring-noise-blight-to-cambridgeshire/).

We’ve now been made aware of the government's recent decision to allow massive expansion of Luton Airport. The development would destroy a wildlife site to build a second terminal, add 70,000 more flights a year (some of which would affect South Cambridgeshire), and increase night flights by 70%. Existing road and rail congestion would be increased by 15 million more passengers a year than in 2024.

LADACAN - Luton And District Association for the Control of Aircraft Noise – has begun the process of Judicial Review.  To find out more go to https://www.crowdjustice.com/case/stop-luton-airport-expansion/
