Prolonged Dry Weather; moving into Recovery in East Anglia

Situation (23 February 2026)

A very wet January and further rainfall in February has continued to support an improving situation across East Anglia. The last 3 months have seen 141% of the long-term average (LTA) rainfall and, with more rainfall forecast, we expect to see sustained improvements to ground water levels and river flows in our catchments.
