This free event coincides with the start of Ramsey Rural Museum’s new season opening. To mark the occasion, the Archives section of the museum will be mounting a display of old photos of Ramsey and explaining how the history of Ramsey ties in with other major events, and with the museum’s other displays.  For more information go to


Great Ouse Valley Trust AGM and talk, Saturday 5th April, 10.30am for 11am start, Grafham Village Hall, Van Diemans Way, PE28 0GB

The AGM will be followed by an illustrated talk, “Tales from the Riverbank”, by Francis Mizuro.  Starting his third season as owner-operator of the St Ives Electric Riverboat Co., Francis will share his observations of the River Great Ouse that runs through our beautiful valley, the joy it brings and the issues it faces.
