Volunteer Roles

CPRE Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Rooftop Solar Champions

We’re looking for Rooftop Solar Champions in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.  As a volunteer Rooftop Solar Champion your role would involve writing to your MP on behalf of CPRE Cambridgeshire; telling your local authority about the campaign and asking them to adopt solar panels on warehouse roofs as a policy; and liaising with local action groups to pass on information about the campaign and collect examples of “good” rooftop and “bad” ground solar projects.  It’s a great way to become more involved with CPRE’s work.  Interested?  For more information contact Tracey Hipson at administrator2@cprecambs.org.uk.
